Week 10 (10/9 - 10/15) - The good, the bad, the fun

Drawings turned out great! On the other hand my head felt like it was about to split in two during the entire session.  The model was totally awesome!  He did a 5 minute pose on one leg! It may also be good to add that the guy looked to be in his lat 60's early 70's.  Needless to say I was blown away.

Week 9 (10/2 - 10/8) - Double time!

I went to two different drawing sessions back to back (Friday evening and Saturday morning).  Friday evening there was no model, so the the other people and I took turns posing for each other.  We even got to do 30 second poses which was very new and exciting.  I did a lot of gestures and tried a few different things, mainly extending the figure on an entire strip of paper towel.  Drawings turn out nicer when you don't have to worry about proportions, for me at least.

Week 8 (9/25 - 10/1) - Fast and Furious

I committed myself to doing nothing but poses under five minutes because they require the most attention and improvement for now.  I had a blast doing it!  It made me pay attention to different things each time I would draw and redraw a single pose.  This is something I will definitely do down the road.  I did a little over half of these on paper towels that I "borrowed" from the men's bathroom at my school and the rest is on newsprint that was given to me by my art teacher.
